Ethan Otterlei

Ethan is Senior Vice President of Technology Operations for UCP Merchant Medicine, where he leads the strategy, development, and operations of the Intellivisit application suite and technology team. He brings over twenty years of experience in technology, product development, and entrepreneurship, with a focus on healthcare technology and scaling digital platforms.

Prior to joining UCP Merchant Medicine, Ethan held a range of leadership positions at Zipnosis/DocSquad, most recently serving as AVP of Partner Sales. In that role, he was instrumental in developing and managing partner sales strategies, negotiating contracts, and working across cross-functional teams to advance organizational goals. His career at Zipnosis also included roles such as Vice President of Business Development, Director of Sales Operations, Principal Product Advisor, Director of Product Management, and Senior Engineer.

Earlier in his career, Ethan led technology at a hedge fund administration firm, co-founded two startups, and began as a software developer at Atomic Playpen, a leading creative agency of its time.

Ethan holds a BS degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota, where he was also a member of the men’s golf team.
